(2)Research contemporary paintings and photographs online. Research artist/photographers and historical contexts. How do images convey stories? Choose one of the images you found and create a story that you feel might be depicted in that image. You must use purely your imagination , but aim for believability . You may do research, but only that which supports your fictional proposal. You will write at least 500 words to cover a wide description of the image. You should talk about the questions below, and develop as much fiction detail as you can imagine. Upload your writing and image to the OneDrive before next class. Be prepared to present your made-up story along with the image you chose.

BECUASE OF A LARGE VOLUME OF STUDENTS IN THIS CLASS, YOU WILL OFTEN PAIR UP OR TEAM UP. Chose a partner. Together, you must give a 8 minute presentation showing supplementary elements to support story.

Be prepared to answer these questions:

-who or what is depicted in the picture?

-what is the era of time that is captured here?

-what is happening in the picture/painting?

-what is about to change?

-what is unique about the situation that captured in the image?

...I will ask other questions similar to this. You need to build your skills at creative improvisation, so some questions will be different. You wont be penalized for not answering correctly. There is no right or wrong answers in this assignment.
