Myth

 

When strictly defines, a myth is a religious-centered story that explores the origins of man at the creation of the world. Myths are considered true by both orator and the audience, and the main character is usually a god who takes an alternative form, An example is the myth of Hercules. Before Hercules is born, his father Amphityron, is called away to war. During his ab sense, the deceitful Greek God Zeus disguises himself as Amphitryon in order to sleep with Hercules' mother, Alcmene. The result of their night together is Hercules -half mortal, half god.*
