Springboard

In the world of television animation, it is typical for a writer to be asked to come up with several springboards -simple ideas that can be further developed. A springboard is usually used for an episode of an established show but can also be a way of generating ideas. For our purposes, we will use the term to further concepts.

(1)An upside down fairy tale involving a typical villain, an Ogre, as a hero (Shrek)

(2)The adventures of an irrepressibly optimistic sea creature (Sponge-Bob)

(3) A teenage spy must balance cheer-leading practice with saving the world (Kim Possible)
