2. characters designed* (with turnaround for hand drawn/rigged for 3D/built for stop motion)
3. board and animatic
4. layouts
5. dialog track recorded and edited
6. all props and BGs listed and designed
7. at least one scene shot
* if you are doing abstract or experimental animation with no characters, your film design will suffice.


MUST COMPLETED BY END OF BY THE END OF 2nd CAPSTONE
1. Props and backgrounds completed

2. All final animation
3. final sound
4. final render/edit
Highly recommended: keep your project at a manageable length. Quality will be measured as achieved goals, not wishes.

Over-ambitious and under-ambitious goals will be rejected. Projected and reached goals will be evaluated case by case, whether working in groups or solo.

IF YOU ARE WORKING SOLO, BE ADVISED:

(1-2 minutes may be ambitious for an ornately illustrated and/or exquisitely animated work. 6-7 minutes of this may be over-ambitious. Whereas 6-7 min of minimal or process-driven animation may be under-ambitious. Time-goal measurement is case by case. Quality is always set over quantity and/or mediocrity.
