(1) The events can be on-campus or off-campus

for on campus events try the CSULA event calendar, for off-campus events start with PACIFIC STANDARD TIME website.

(2) The events must be related to the ARTS:

Art Exhibitions, Performances (art, dance, or music performances for example) Theatrical Exhibitions or Performances, Museum or Gallery Exhibitions or Installations, Art Lectures, Literary events like readings of prose or poetry or also good. Basically, it has to be an art-related event at a legitimate institution or location. The event should of course somehow realte to your interests and to the College of Arts and Letters.

(3) The events should NOT be:

No educational seminars, instructionals, workshops, how-to events, social events, mixers, or colloqias. I am looking for art related event/exhibitions like stated above; hence a high degree of artistic interpretation that you must later make of the event.

(4) The events should be different locations

Do not just pick 2 events happening at the same time at LACMA (just becuase its convenient). Try to find 2 different locations/venues. For example: a CSULA exhibition at the Luckman Gallery, and an art exhibition at LACMA.

(5) Email me the two events!

Don't just give me links. Give me a short description, location details, and also the link.

You will give an oral presentation on each event beginning in week 9. So you need to have ATTENDED THE EVENT by NOVEMBER 20th
