ART 496 Advanced Animation

J. Ovelmen, Spring 2008

COURSE OUTLINE

DESCRIPTION

Advanced Computer Animation is an opportunity to develop animation which demonstrates your creative and technical skills and which may be used for your portfolio or demo reel. Typically character animation is the format of your work, but character design development and rigging (with sample movement), special effects or abstract animation are also acceptable. You are encouraged to mix different kinds of animation, and think experimentally in any way.

Emphasis should be on the quality of your work, good use of technology, originality, and professional attitude. In this way your final grade will be based on a similar rubric as the one used in the 494 course.
