INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS

Lectures and Demos of animation priciples and techniques, and examples of student and professional work given only as requested per student need.* You will otherwise be entirely self-guided and left to work on your own. In this class, at this level, you will be expected to be self-starting and professional. However, you are encouraged to ask for information on those topics that you need help with to fulfill your creative goals. For best and most thorough help, *please schedule the most demanding of your technical and conceptual needs for assistance during your scheduled Consultation/Production Days. (see right column)

CAPSTONE PROJECTS MAY BE:

a Traditional Story Animation

a Fine Arts or ExperimentalAnimation

or

a Specialized Animation Project

Capstone projects must be approved through the instructor before production begins..

Even if your project is non-narrative, each student must present storyboard ideas and or concept material for group discussion and evaluation. Point values are given based on progress, yet dependent on based on feasibility considering to time and resources, originality, and creativity.
